We’ve been recently tossing around a few different color options for the house. Originally we thought about doing a brick exterior, but changed our minds to siding. We are pretty sure we’ve settled on the shade for the exterior, a blue/grey color like the ones below.
Sherwin Williams, Behr and Benjamin Moore all have options within their product galleries. I originally thought I would want black accents with the blue, but after looking at a lot of options, I’m leaning more towards the cream accents.
As far as the interior is concerned, we haven’t really landed on a palette yet. I really like the colors in Kate’s house. They tend to fall into the blue/grey/green family. I’ve also seen some rooms paint in the Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter and they look fabulous. I think I’m seeing a pattern here?
Do you love grey palettes, or do you find them…dull? I really love them. I’ll be sure to accent with bright colors like blues and greens, but for the walls I’m smitten with grey. In our current house we have a red/green/brown color scheme, and while I loved it years ago, I’m over it. I am excited for change.
